Met a longtime meditator today who told me his inner monologue vanished and he missed it and regretted losing it. Also that he missed having some anxiety/neuroticism because it’s a useful source of fuel/drive. Meditation is great, but should come with a warning label.

got a chance to visit the Dallas Cowboys new training center a few days ago -- it was beautiful. too beautiful.

Shoplifting is definitely serious, and it's an area where extremely few people do a lot of harm.
For example: 0.00385% of New York's population were responsible for 33% of the shoplifting arrests in the city.
327 people being arrested more than 6,000 times in a year is insane.

^ been thinking about this for a while and i think there’s going to be (already is?) a huge divide between people consuming ~exclusively algorithm-served content vs people consuming human-curated content
Skunk Works adopted the “Responsible Engineer” mentality, rather than traditional systems engineering. just as spacex does.
